Lunches for an Outing: 7.7.12

It isn't often that I get a chance to hike two days in a row, but today the kids and I and a friend hiked Mount Worcester... none of us had done it before, and I'm convinced now that my kids are part mountain goat.  They both loved it.  Especially The Boy.  He scrambled up steep rock faces quicker than any of us!

At the top, the view was incredible!  We had made about a 2000ft gain in elevation, and sat on a rocky outcrop for some lunch.

My friend had a turkey & swiss sandwich, half a nectarine, and some kettle corn.

The Boy had a turkey & swiss sandwich, kettle corn, and some raisins.

The Girl had a turkey sandwich, half a nectarine, almonds, and kettle corn

I had a turkey & swiss sandwich, kettle corn, and some NatureBox trail mix.
This hike was no easy stroll!!
