Giveaway: Teeny Tiny Spice Company #3: Ras el Hanout

The third spice mix from Teeny Tiny Spice Company I'm offering up for you to have a chance to win is Ras el Hanout.  Here's what the Teeny Tiny Spice Comany's website has to say about this wonderful mixture:
Ras el Hanout brings the flavors of the ancient spice routes into your kitchen.  This spice mix is a true meeting of East and West with a brilliant combination of floral and spice tones with just a hint of heat.  We love to add it to slow cooked stews and legumes, rice or couscous.

Ingredients
80 gm (2.8 oz) Reusable Tin
1 out of 5 Heat

  • Turmeric
  • Nutmeg
  • Ginger
  • Red & Pink Rose Petals
  • Sweet Cinnamon
  • Birdseye Chili Peppers
  • Lavender Flowers
  • Cardamom
  • Mace
  • Anise Seed
  • Clove
  • Himalayan Pink Salt

So, in order to enter, simply tell me what you'd like to try with this spice mix.  My father made some amazing hummus with some stirred in.  Seriously, yum.  Would you try the Ras el Hanout Coconut Chicken?  How about the Spiced Lentil Loaf?  Or the Ras el Hanout Tangine?  I've used it as a rub on chicken and it's divine... exotic, but not really spicy.

One entry per person (per spice mix).  You can only win one spice mix.

Winner for the Ras el Hanout will be chosen at random (using random.org) at about 5 PM on Friday, February 18th.  The winner must get back to me within 48 hours, or I reserve the right to pick a new winner.  Please be sure to include a way to contact you in your comment.

Good luck!  And keep checking back for the next giveaway!  Three more left after this one!

  1. Oh, I love trying new spices! I think the Spiced Lentil Loaf sounds interesting! My family likes lentil tacos and lentil soup.... I would love to just experiment with this spice and add it to whatever strikes my fancy! LOL

  4. I'd have to experiment. I hear yams are popular in that cuisine, so maybe combining the two. It sounds interesting, though!

I think I'd try this in my crock pot beef stew recipe! My husband loves heat, but I'm a sissy...this sounds just right.
