The King Arthur Flour Baker's Store in Norwich, VT |
I am lucky enough to live in the same state as their bakery store. Sadly, two hours away, but... it's worth a day trip.
Last year's visit |
This year's visit - and my beloved pain de mie pan. |
I've visited them twice now (once last summer, once this summer), and each time I have been left with a sense of baking joy.
Flavoring oils and extracts... I dream of these... |
Oh my. |
Mixes galore. |
They have a great online store, which I have also ordered from a couple of times.
I love their flours, of course, and their specialty ingredients - the Vermont Cheese Powder! The Maple and Cinnamon Flav-r-Bites!
And don't get me started on their gadgets and bakeware... including my new favorite, the pain de mie breadpan...
On top of it all, they have incredible resources on their website which really set them apart from other companies. Need help with something? Try the Baker's Hotline! Want to peruse some truly awesome recipes? They have them in spades.
Why do I wax poetic? Well...
They are offering a $25 gift card to one of my readers.
All you have to do is go to their website and tell me what you would get with your gift card, should you win. One lucky reader, chosen at random, will win a $25 gift card to the King Arthur Flour Baker's Store. That's it.
As always, I need a way to contact you. Anonymous commenters, with no contact information, cannot win. If I can't contact you, I can't get your information to King Arthur Flour, and you can't get your prize. Simple as that.
One comment per person, please.
I will choose a winner, using Random.org, on Wednesday, September 15th, at 6 PM ish, EST.
Disclaimer: I have been in no way compensated for this giveaway or by talking about King Arthur Flour. All opinions are my own. The prize is donated by King Arthur Flour.

Gluten Free Bread mix & pizza mix and the flour mix! I live with a Diabetic&Celiac Grandmother so we don't need cakes and cookies as much, even if she loves them. But her bread that we can find at the nearby stores taste like cardboard..I try making bread for her, but I'm still on a search for a lighter bread (*read* Grandma is low in the chewing department). I'd love to win so that I can continue to show her that being gluten free doesn't mean having the same tasteless boring things day in and out!
