A friend sent me this article from The New York Times about bento (or obento, if you want to be Japanese about it..) There are a lot of blogs and shops listed that I already know about and have visited, but there are a couple new places to check out... I think what the article kind of fails to mention are the people like me, who love the bento-style, but pack mostly non-Japanese food. I tried packing rice for my daughter, and it came home untouched. I think the main point is - Have fun, pack healthy, and enjoy!
