Lunches for The Boy & The Girl: 10.17.12 - Halloween Hop!

It's time for another Bento Blogger & Friends Hop - this one featuring some Halloween lunches!
The Boy's
The Girl's

Both lunches are in this same post.

Apple: 6g

The Boy's snack is some apple slices with a googly eye pick, in a Jack-o-lantern container I found at Michael's last year.  I'll have him get a milk with this snack, so that he has enough carbs to get him to lunch time.
Sandwich: 18g, applesauce: 8g, grapes & kiwi berries: 5g, melon: 3g, yogurt: 6g, muffin: 10g
His lunch is a Jack-o-lantern ham sandwich on King Arthur Flour Vermont Whole Wheat Oatmeal Honey Bread, colored orange at the request of the children, pressed with a jack-o-lantern press and in a pumpkin silicone cup, along with some kiwi berries and grapes, melon balls, strawberry applesauce with a few Halloween sprinkles in an Easylunchbox Mini Dipper, some Cabot Vanilla Bean Greek yogurt (Don't miss my great Cabot Giveaway!!) with some more sprinkles (he was adamant that he needed two kinds of sprinkles) in another mini dipper, and a pumpkin shaped prune muffin, made from this recipe (leaving out the frosting, shaping a little orange sugar on it to make it more pumpkiny.)

The Girl's snack is the same as The Boy's, but with skin, because she has teeth, in a bat container (also from Michael's last year).  This should be enough for her for snack, because she doesn't have to worry about insulin dosage.

Her lunch is Jack-o-lantern ham sandwich on King Arthur Flour Vermont Whole Wheat Oatmeal Honey Bread, colored orange, pressed with a jack-o-lantern press and in a pumpkin silicone cup, along with some kiwi berries and grapes, a jack-o-lantern clementine, strawberry applesauce with a few Halloween sprinkles in an Easylunchbox Mini Dipper, some Cabot Vanilla Bean Greek yogurt  with some more sprinkles in another mini dipper, and a ghost shaped prune muffin, coated with a little confectioner's sugar.
