Giveaway: Teeny Tiny Spice Company #6 - Persian Adwiya

This is the last Teeny Tiny Spice Company Giveaway (for now!) - and it's a really exotic one.  Persian Adwiya!  A spice mix with rose petals, you say?  How wonderfully delightful!

 100% Organic Ingredients
80 gm (2.8 oz) of Spice in a Reusable Tin
0 out of 5 Heat
  • Red & Pink Rose Petals
  • Sweet Cinnamon
  • Lemon Zest
  • Cumin
  • Coriander
  • Orange Zest
  • Nutmeg
  • Cardamom
  • Black Peppercorn
  • Himalayan Pink Salt
Here's what Teeny Tiny Spice Co. has to say about the spice mix.

Adwiya possesses a spicy profile with a delightful floral undertone.  It shines when added to mild dishes such as chicken, rice, couscous, and legumes, yet it is able to handle the demands of bolder cooking such as slowly grilled ribs.  A combination of flavors that is unique to Iranian cooking, Adwiya will become a favorite spice when you want something a little different.

So, to enter, simply tell me what you'd like to try with the Persian Adwiya. Would you try it on popcorn, like Teeny Tiny Spice Company recommends?  How about in some Persian Rice?  What sorts of things would you try?  It sounds totally fun.

One entry per person (per spice mix).  You can only win one spice mix.

Winner for the Persian Adwiya will be chosen at random (using random.org) at about 5 PM on Monday, March 7th.  The winner must get back to me within 48 hours, or I reserve the right to pick a new winner.  Please be sure to include a way to contact you in your comment.

Good luck!  I hope to work with Teeny Tiny Spice Company again soon to offer more giveaways.

Disclaimer:  Teeny Tiny Spice Company sent me these spice mixes for you.  They may be sending me some samples to try, but otherwise, there is no compensation.  All reviews on these products are my own.

  2. I think I'd like to try it first with couscous... or maybe quinoa. I bought both for the first time last week and am still at a loss at what to do with them...

  3. I'd try it with couscous - that would be a quick side dish, and I don't have a lot of time to cook lately.

  4. You can also whip some Adwiya into butter or add to some olive oil and spread it on a baguette, or toss it with butter or oil in pasta. I am going to play with some more spring recipes for this spice. I am thinking it would go well in summer salads with edible flowers and berries. Will see what I come up with!
