And perfect for Green Day during Rainbow Week!
The last time I made them, I ate an entire bunch of kale all by myself. In one sitting. Yum.
Kale Chips
~3 c kale
cooking spray or 1 Tbsp olive oil
salt
Preheat oven to 350 F. Remove kale from thick stems and separate into leaves. Pat dry with a paper towel. This will make the kale chips crispy instead of soggy.
All coated |
Put into a large roasting pan in a single layer. Spray with cooking spray, or drizzle with olive oil and rub lightly to coat evenly. Sprinkle with salt lightly.
Bake for 10-14 minutes, stirring once or twice (I shook the pan). Remove when kale is crispy, but not burnt. Enjoy!
looks marvelous....!!!
ReplyDeletewhat a great way to get kids to love their greens!!
these are so yummy. I recently made some and put nutritional yeast on them for a "cheesy" flavor with a little lemon juice too
